Brag.
I think we have the prettiest 16-year-old granddaughter ever!
Here is Tori just about to leave on her date with Jordan for prom night.
They coordinated their outfits and I think they look really cute together!
They had a ball.
Yeah, he got her home before curfew.

would love to see you!
Dear Jean,
Thank you SO much for your encouragement. "Swaziland awaits you" sent chills through my body and an unexplainable excitement-joy to my heart.
I am happy to say that I plan on going. I am so thankful for this opportunity. I need no more of anything, by the sheer joy in my heart and peace I know where He wants me and what He wants me to do.
I thought about something Mr. Dave told Elevate when he spoke to us in the fall. He said the question you should ask yourself is He okay with me not going instead of should I go? (He was speaking on mission work)
Those words fell into my Spirit yesterday and when I evaluated my heart I have to say He would want me to go. As Mike Haman says, "Go with the strength that you have and He will give you the strength you need."
As you can probably sense, I am thrilled to go. I am honored and excited and eager.
Thank you and I hope to speak with you in person about the wonderful land of Africa. :)
Oh and I have to agree- you guys have a beautiful girl that is going to do amazing things for the Lord. She looks great in that dress!
Tori is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so blessed to have her in my life-- you have a great granddaughter :) It's such an honor leading life group with her and seeing her at Refuge each week!! She's awesome!
