I wonder how brazilians figured out it was only the liquid of their edible roots that were poisonous.
brazilians? persistence? trial and error? but then after one or two "errors" you'd think they'd have quit trying! yikes!

Thanks for making me feel a little less weird. =) I have thoughts like that all the time...who did it first and what were they thinking to do it especially in the food arena, but also with sports.
